Outstanding volunteer may slow down just long enough to accept award

A person can become weary just from reading a list of Cynamon Trokhan’s works of volunteerism.

That’s a reason Trokhan is this year’s recipient of the Hamilton Heritage Award for Outstanding Community Involvement during a luncheon at the Courtyard by Marriott in Hamilton on Tuesday. This is the 17th year for the award.

“The recipient of the Heritage Award exhibits a history of volunteering outside of his/her job,” according to the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce. “This person will go above and beyond in their volunteer efforts. Their work contributes to the betterment of our community.”
