A Hamilton business was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night.
A suspect entered Speedy’s on North Second Street at the Black Street Bridge at about 8:35 p.m. and displayed a gun, pointed it at the employee and took thousands of dollars in cash from the register, according to a Hamilton police report.
Store security video showed a person wearing a mask and a black hooded jacket enter the drive thru with a gun in hand, then remove a backpack, point the gun at the employee, put the cash in the backpack and leave on foot.
Sgt. Rich Burkhardt said detectives are investigating and are reviewing video from the store.
Anyone with information about the suspect or robbery is asked to call Detective Mark Nichols at 513-868-5811 ext. 1232.
