Man to be arraigned for alleged role in December robbery, shooting in Dayton

Nathaniel A. Morningstar, who is accused of shooting a woman during a robbery in December,  is scheduled to be arraigned in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court this morning.

First report: 

Two men are charged for their alleged roles in the December robbery and shooting of a woman.

Nathaniel A. Morningstar and Lamar S. Storey were indicted Friday in connection to the Dec. 29 shooting and robbery in the 800 block of Huffman Avenue in Dayton.

Morningstar, of Fairfield Twp. in Butler County, is charged with aggravated robbery and two counts of felonious assault, each with three-year gun specifications.

Storey, of Cincinnati, is charged with aggravated robbery, also with a three-year gun specification.

According to the indictment, Morningstar is accused of shooting Sheila Eddington, who was hit in the leg.

He is in the Butler County Jail, where he is held on unrelated drug charges and a possible parole violation. He is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 14 in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

Storey is in the Montgomery County Jail, where he also is accused of a possible parole violation. He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
