Man pulls a gun on his brother because they disagreed on the age of an actor

Brothers arguing about a television show led to an arrest in Hamilton.

A mother called dispatchers to a Chamberlain Drive residence during the early morning hours of June 23 about a domestic dispute between her sons.

Ryan Saylor said he was watching television with his brother, Dustin Saylor, when they began arguing about the age of an actor, according to the police report.

“The argument quickly became out of hand and the defendant got in the victim’s face in a violent fashion,” Officer Lucas Meyer wrote in the report.

After some pushing, Dustin Saylor allegedly went into another room and got a a gun. At that time everyone in the house was afraid for their safety, according to the report.

Dustin Saylor, 37, of Indiana, was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence. He pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct on June 24 in Hamilton Municipal Court and was placed on two years community control, ordered to take anger management and told to stay away from his brother, according to court records.
