Taggart was indicted Wednesday, Sept. 30, on the arson charges only. The domestic violence charge has been dismissed.
Taggart is being held on $25,000 bond in the Butler County Jail.

HAMILTON — A Butler County grand jury has indicted a Hamilton man on two counts of aggravated arson stemming from an incident early last month.
Neal Taggart, 46, of the 500 block of Ludlow Street, was arrested by Hamilton police during the early morning hours of Sept. 1 and charged with aggravated arson and domestic violence. According to police, Taggart set fire to a Ludlow Street residence, which was occupied by family. Taggart allegedly pulled a knife on a relative and told them to leave, according to police.
