Thieves broke into three vehicles and took $1,600 worth of purses, credit and gift cards and other items while the cars were parked at the Voice Of America soccer fields last weekend in West Chester Twp.

A Louis Vuitton purse valued at $600 was reported stolen as well as three gift cards totaling $362.
The cars were parked in the lot at the Voice of America MetroPark soccer fields between 5:30 and 6 p.m. July 14.
Numerous credit cards, cash, driver’s licenses and a University of Dayton access card were also taken.
The case is listed as inactive, according to township spokeswoman Barb Wilson.
