DETAILED FORECAST 

More clouds will arrive with a slight chance of a shower toward morning. Overnight lows will only drop into the upper 60s, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Thursday: Expect a mix of sun and clouds and a chance for a passing shower or storm. There is a slight chance one or two storms could be strong, mainly north of Interstate 70. Temperatures will top out in the lower 80s.

Friday: Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with a chance for a passing shower or storm, mainly south of I-70. Temperatures will be a bit cooler, reaching into the middle 70s.

Saturday: A mix of clouds and sunshine, along with higher temperatures, are expected to start the weekend. There will be the chance for a passing shower or storm with increasing chances toward evening. Highs will be in the lower 80s.

Sunday: Showers and thunderstorms will be likely. High temperatures in the upper 70s will occur early in the day with a slow drop in temperatures late.

Monday: Clearing skies and cooler weather will start the new week with highs near 70 degrees.
