Paint-and-sip studio to hold grand opening event

The doors to fun and creativity are opening with the newest paint-and-sip studio Pinot’s Palette at 7302 Yankee Road.

Fans of art and wine can enjoy the best of both worlds at the upscale entertainment destination where guests can “Paint, drink and have fun.”

The 2,800-square-foot studio in the Liberty Commons shopping center next to Kroger Marketplace will host a grand opening celebration for the public from 7 to 10 p.m. April 25.

It’s all a dream come true for Dayton native Kelly Daniels, who said she has always wanted to own her own business.

Daniels visited a Pinot’s Palette studio in Dayton owned by Karen Doggett, a friend of the family for nearly 20 years. She left so inspired by the business that she realized she had to open one of her own.

“I couldn’t wait to bring Butler County a new kind of entertainment where everyone can take home their very own painted masterpiece,” Daniels said. “Pinot’s Palette helps people get their creative juices flowing.”

Daniels said Doggett inspired her to be the boss of her own Pinot’s Palette and bring the fun to Liberty Twp. And she recruited childhood friend and Army veteran, Pam Imel, to join her as the studio manager.

“Kelly has dreamt of starting her own business for a long time, and it’s an unbelievable feeling to be able to help your best friend bring her dream to reality,” Imel said. “We are so excited for our grand opening, and bringing the community a place to paint, drink, and have fun. We are also thrilled to be partnering with the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital since the organization is important to Liberty Twp.”

Pinot’s Palette of Liberty Township will donate all seat reservation proceeds from the grand opening celebration to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital’s fundraising program, Giving Hope.

“Giving Hope events are a fun way to support the medical center,” said Megan Boesing, donor relations officer of Giving Hope. “Every gift, no matter the size, has an impact on the kids and families we serve,

“As a nonprofit organization, Cincinnati Children’s relies on the support of our friends and partners in the community, like Pinot’s Palette, to help us advance research and improve care. Together, we are helping to change the outcome for kids here in Cincinnati and around the world.”

Pinot’s Palette of Liberty Township provides the art supplies needed for the event. Guests can register online to attend two-to-three-hour painting classes where they recreate the featured painting of the night, guided by a local artist.

Public events are held in a main studio that seats up to 48 people. A private party room for 15 people is also available for events. An in-studio bar offers beer, wine and spirits for sale.
