OxACT producing ‘See How They Run’

Tickets are available for the Oxford Area Community Theater (OxACT) production of “See How They Run,” by Phillip King. The 1940’s farce, directed by Bill Brewer, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19 and 20; at 2 p.m. Oct. 21; at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 25 and 26; and at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Oxford Community Arts Center.

“See How They Run” takes place in wartime England and involves a cast of characters galloping in and out of the four doors of an English vicarage.

Cast members include Michael Beck, Bob Burnard, Sara Christman, Vince Smith and Donna Stevens of Oxford; Tom Dierlng and Jeff Christian of Hamilton; and Miami University theatre majors Jordan Carlson and Ryan Knapper.

The set was designed by Mari Taylor, Miami theatre major, and built by ACE Hardware. “See How They Run” is stage managed by Meggan Ratterman and Nora McVey.

Tickets, $10 senior/student and $12 general, are available for purchase in person at the Oxford Community Arts Center or may be reserved by calling the OxACT box office at (513) 523-6228. Tickets also will be available at the door.

The production is sponsored by McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, D.S. DeWitt Construction, Inc. and R.N. Fey Company.

The Oxford Community Arts Center is located at 10 S. College Ave. (the corner of High Street and College Avenue, with parking behind the building).
