Lebanon voters approve school tax

LEBANON — Voters in the Lebanon school district approved the schools’ tax renewal request, according to unofficial results from the Warren County Board of Elections.

With 100 percent of precincts counted, 6,947 voters, or 59 percent, voted in favor and 4,785 voters, or 41 percent, voted against Issue 3, a 5.41-mill three-year emergency levy, according to unofficial results from the Warren County Board of Elections.

The 5.41-mill three-year, emergency operating levy will continue generating $4.2 million annually for the district, while costing home owners $165 a year for every $100,000 of home value.
