Middletown police are investigating the shooting of a 17-year-old girl overnight and are searching for a suspect.
Police received a report of the shooting on Thursday night in the 1300 block of Young Street. The victim was transported to Atrium Medical Center and then flown by medical helicopter to another facility in serious condition, police said.
Investigators are searching for Daniel Calhoun, 19, as a suspect in the incident that resulted from a disturbance, police said.
