A pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Dixie Highway early today was flown to an area hospital after suffering serious injuries, our media partners at WCPO-TV in Cincinnati reported.
Fairfield police say the driver struck the man around 1:15 a.m. near St. Clair Avenue prompting a medical helicopter to be called.
The driver was not injured.
The pedestrian’s name was not released.
Dixie Highway (state Route 4) was blocked while crews handled the incident, but has since reopened.
