2014 Best of Butler County winners announced

In April, the Journal-News partnered with the Butler County Visitors Bureau and solicited your input for our first annual Best of Butler County contest. And, boy, did you respond. You made hundreds of nominations in the 20 categories — from Best Place to Find a Thrill to Best Burger. The businesses that garnered the most nominations in each category became finalists.

Then once again, in May, we put the power in your hands. For one week, you voted online from the list of final nominees. We were thrilled to learn that nearly 20,000 votes were cast by the people who live, work and play in Butler County.
