3 injured, including 4-year-old boy, in West Chester crash that splits car in two

Three people, including a 4-year-old boy, are hospitalized in serious condition this morning after a crash in West Chester Twp. Thursday evening.

A 2008 Nissan Altima and 2017 Honda Accord collided around 6 p.m. on Hamilton-Mason Road between Bannerwood and Tarragon when the Altima “went off the edge of the road, over-corrected and hit the westbound vehicle,” then hit a tree and split in two, according to township spokeswoman Barb Wilson.

The driver, passenger and the 4-year-old boy traveling in the Altmia were taken to the hospital. The boy was transported to West Chester Hospital and then flown by helicopter to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center downtown.

Wilson said no charges have been filed and impairment is not suspected.
