Fatal motorcycle crash shuts down road in West Chester Twp.

A fatal crash at West Chester Road and Ridgemont Drive has shut down West Chester Road just east of U.S. 42.

The crash happened around 4:45 p.m., dispatchers said. It involved a motorcycle that became trapped under a vehicle, according to scanner traffic.

The Butler County Coroner’s Office is heading to the scene.

A medic on scene is treating the driver of the vehicle for injuries suffered in the crash.
