Police searching for Cash Land robber

HAMILTON — Hamilton police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery at Cashland.

Police responded to an armed robbery call Monday, Sept. 14, at Cashland, 952 Main St. Employees at the store reported that at about 5 p.m., a man came into the business with a handgun and demanded money from the cashier.

The cashier complied with the suspect’s demands and the suspect fled the area with an undetermined amount of cash, according to police.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, with salt and pepper hair and a scraggly beard. Witnesses reported that the suspect looked to be in his late 40s or early 50s. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a white Porter Paint hat and blue jeans.
