Randy C. Koelblin Jr., 33, of West Chester Twp., was arrested at 5:40 p.m. Oct. 7 in the 2100 block of Princeton Road on suspicion of criminal trespass and theft.
The theft of a dell computer with case, GPS unit and two pair of sunglasses between 10 p.m. Oct. 7 and 6 a.m. Oct. 8 from a vehicle parked in the 3800 block of Jocelyn Drive. Reported total value is $10,775.
West Chester Twp. Police Department
A Hamilton man was arrested last weekend after police said he was driving drunk with a juvenile in the car.
Elias A. Chavez-Ceva, of Waco Way in Hamilton, was charged with OVI, child endangerment and driving without a license after he was pulled over for not having functional tail lights on his vehicle. Each of the charges is a first-degree misdemeanor.
Police said Chavez-Ceva’s blood alcohol level was 0.133 when he was stopped. Ohio’s legal limit is 0.08. Police said the child endangerment charge was filed because Chavez-Ceva was allegedly driving with a 17-year-old female in the passenger seat.
The suspect remained in the Butler County Jail as of Tuesday, Oct. 13, according to jail records.
A 16-year-old is facing felony drug charges and being associated with a gang after West Chester Twp. Police said they caught him selling marijuana at a local high school.
The 16-year-old from West Chester Twp. was arrested at about 8 a.m. Oct. 6. He has been charged with drug trafficking, a fourth-degree felony, and participating in a criminal gang, a second-degree felony.
Police said the drug trafficking penalties are increased because he was allegedly selling marijuana inside Lakota West High School. Police said they believe he is a member of a Cincinnati-area sect of the Bloods. The juvenile remains in Butler County Juvenile Detention Center.
