Fairfield Police Department

Ismail A. Rahim, 21, of Fairfield, was arrested at 12:11 p.m. Nov. 7 in the 3700 block of Woodridge Boulevard on suspicion of aggravated menacing.

Helen Irene Fields, 44, of Hamilton, was arrested at 2:40 a.m. Nov. 8 on Symmes Road at Fairfield Avenue on suspicion of operating a vehicle while impaired.

The theft of $1,730 worth of medication and a computer cable cord occurred at 4 p.m. Nov. 8 from an apartment on Applebury Drive. Reported total value is $1,750.

The theft of 40 brake shoe cores, scrap steel, a Caterpiller head core and a truck rim occurred between 4 p.m. Nov. 8 and 9:30 a.m. Nov. 9 from Night Hawk, 2727 Symmes Road. Reported total value is $1,730.

The theft of 14 batteries occurred between 6 p.m. Nov. 8 and 8 a.m. Nov. 9 from Wombles Auto Care, 1382 Hicks Blvd. Reported total value is $1,500.

The theft of batteries from seven vehicles and catalytic converters occurred from two vehicles between 7 p.m. Nov. 8 and 8 a.m. Nov. 9 all parked at Halcomb Concrete Construction, 1409 Veteran Drive. Reported total value is $1,900.

The theft of a hood and grill assembly a Dodge Durango occurred between 5 p.m. Nov. 9 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 10 parked at B&G Auto Sales, 5200 Dixie Highway, after someone broke the rear and front driver side windows. Reported value is $800 and damage is $250.

The theft of a wallet with $30 and a laptop occurred between 11 p.m. Nov. 9 and 6:30 a.m. Nov. 10 from an unlocked vehicle parked on Pineview Court. Reported value is the $710.

The theft of a laptop occurred between 10 p.m. Nov. 9 and 4 a.m. Nov. 10 from a home in the 3800 block of Mack Road. Reported value is $800.

The theft of a vehicle occurred at 4 p.m. Nov. 9 parked in the 900 block of Nilles Road. Reported value is $1,000.

James M. Higginbotham, 36, of Fairfield, was arrested at 6:19 a.m. Nov. 10 on Mack at Ross roads on suspicion of possession of drugs.

The theft of a CD player and a vehicle’s passenger side door handle/keyhole before 1:38 p.m. Nov. 10 from a vehicle parked on Camelot Drive. Reported total value is $550.

Caleb M. Surface, 18, of Fairfield, was arrested at 3:48 p.m. Nov. 11 in the 300 block of Cog Hill on suspicion of criminal trespass and petty theft.

The theft of a flat screen television, a laptop and desktop computer occurred between 6 and 7:50 p.m. Nov. 11 from a home in the 7400 block of William Hensley Drive. Reported total value is $9,900.

The theft of $900 and $65 in gift cards occurred before 9:30 a.m. Nov. 12 from a home in the 1200 block of West Augusta Boulevard.

Brooks A. Demarais, 19, of Hepburn Hall, was charged with underage intoxication after he was found passed out on the front stoop of the City Building on Nov. 8.

An unidentified woman took an unknown quantity of prescription medication in an attempt at suicide and was taken to The Fort Hamilton Hospital on Nov. 2.

A South Beech Street resident reported the theft of the GPS from his car on Nov. 3.

A South Main Street resident reported the theft of items ordered from North Slope on Nov. 2.

A Super Walmart employee reported the theft of a Dell computer valued at $848 on Nov. 3.

A McKee Avenue resident reported the theft of $50 from her purse at Salon Signature on Nov. 2.

A Spruce Lane resident reported telecommunications harassment on Nov. 2.

A South Main Street resident reported criminal mischief after a rock was thrown through the window of his residence on Nov. 2.

A McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital nurse reported that a female subject came in and reported a sexual assault on Nov. 8.

A juvenile reported the theft of his cell phone from his locker during physical education class on Nov. 6.

A North Beech Street resident reported an assault on Nov. 6.

Ahmed Kamel, 20, of Mason was charged with offenses involving underage persons on Nov. 7.

Troy A. Daugherty, 19, of Laurel, Ind., was charged with offenses involving underage persons and open container on Nov. 6.

James B. Brome, 32, of Indian Trace, was charged with OVI and expired registration on Nov. 7.

James L. Mencini, 18, of McKee Hall, was charged with offenses involving underage persons on Nov. 6.

A Brookview Court resident reported the theft of a motor vehicle on Nov. 7. The vehicle was eventually found crashed into a light pole in Liberty, Ind.

An Oxford Inn employee reported the theft of two blankets from a room on Nov. 7.

West Chester Twp. Police Department

Someone broke into three trailers belonging to Granite Transformations, 4796 Interstate Drive overnight Nov. 19 and stole dozens of tools. The total estimated value of the items stolen is $2,593, and there are no suspects at this time. Another trailer belonging to Clark Contractors Inc., 4816 Interstate Drive was broken into as well, although nothing was reported stolen.

A Middletown man was arrested last week after police said he was caught trying to steal various tools from Sears, 7900 Tylersville Road.

Police arrested Danny J. Klatt, 34, of the 3200 block of Lefferson Road, during the afternoon hours of Nov. 18 after Sears security said they witnessed him placing tools in his pants and then walking out the store without paying for them.

When he was stopped, Klatt was found with nine tools worth more than $136 in his pants, according to reports.

He was charged with first-degree misdemeanor theft, and also found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Montgomery County. He was cited and taken to the Butler County Jail.

Someone broke out the rear window of a vehicle overnight Nov. 18 while it was parked in the driveway of a home in the 9500 block of Wabash Way. The thief stole a laptop computer. The total estimated value of the items stolen is $1,300, and there are no suspects at this time.

Two Cleves, Ohio, men were arrested last week after police said they attempted to steal Bengals’ merchandise from Kohl’s, 7935 Tylersville Road.

Police arrested Brandon Scott Goff, 25, of the 5800 block of Rainbow Hill Drive, and Joseph Robert Coldiron, 28, of the 7000 block of Ohio 128, after they were seen by the store security concealing $480 worth of Bengals’ jerseys from the store during the afternoon hours of Nov. 16.

Each suspect was cited for first-degree misdemeanor theft and released.

A Milford woman was arrested last week on felony theft charges after police said she attempted to steal more than $500 worth of items from a local Walmart.

Amy L. Morris, 27, of the 5900 block of Roan Road, was charged with fifth-degree felony theft after security personnel from Walmart, 8288 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, said they observed her trying to steal 23 DVDs, CDs and various items of clothing worth $566.40.

She was cited and transported to the Butler County Jail.

Someone broke into Just Imagine Furniture Co., 5146 Duff Drive, between Nov. 11-13 and stole five queen-size bed frames and three twin-sized bed frames. The total estimated value of the items stolen is $351, and there are no suspects at this time.

Someone broke into a home in the 7300 block of Bannerwood Drive overnight Nov. 13 and stole various jewelry worth an estimated $725. There are no suspects at this time.

Someone broke into a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of a home in the 9600 block of Lupine Drive overnight Nov. 12. While inside, a laptop computer, brief case and books were stolen. The total estimated value of the items stolen and damages is $1,738, and there are no suspects at this time.

Someone broke into a vehicle sometime between Nov. 5-9 while it was parked at a home in the 8600 block of Butler-Warren Road. Dozens of tools were stolen. The total estimated value of the items stolen is $3,404, and there are no suspects at this time.
