A Middletown mother is charged with child endangering and disorderly conduct after she allegedly overdosed on heroin, according to Middletown police.
Terri Fath, 48, of the 2400 block of Easton Avenue, was unresponsive when police entered an apartment last week after they were responding to a call about a young girl left alone outside, according to a police report.
Fath had labored breathing and paramedics administered Narcan and she responded. She admitted to police that while she was caring for her daughter, she snorted heroin and overdosed, according to the police report.
Butler County Children Services was contacted and placed the child with the girl’s father, who lives in Madison Twp.
The young girl, who was wearing a diaper and had dirty feet, was non-verbal, police said. Neighbors told police the girl was alone for about 30 minutes.
Fath’s arraignment is set for Sept. 12 in Middletown Municipal Court.
