A man was charged with robbery after he allegedly assaulted a victim and stole $60 and the victim’s cell phone, according to Middletown police.
Police were called Thursday morning to Sloan Market, 1825 Highland St. on a report of a robbery.
Brandon Gross, 34, of Middletown, was located and apprehended by Detective Ryan Morgan and Detective Brandon Highley while they were checking the area, police said.
Gross was located in the 2200 block of Hill Avenue and captured without incident, according to police. The victim’s money and cell phone were located in the possession of the suspect.
