NEW INFO: Bride robbed of $3,500 necklace as newlyweds left their wedding reception in West Chester Twp.

The West Chester Police are looking for two robbery suspects who tore a $3,500 gold necklace off a bride’s neck as newlyweds were leaving their reception at a hotel on Muhlhauser Road last weekend.

The robbery occurred at 12:45 a.m. Oct. 5 in the parking lot of the Marriott Cincinnati North when a bride and groom were leaving the hotel after their wedding reception.

A police report of the incident indicates the bride, a 22-year-old from Cincinnati, was wearing the $3,500 necklace that featured several gold coins. She also suffered “an apparent minor injury.”

The couple were walking to their vehicle when a male grabbed the necklace. The suspect got into a white pickup truck driven by a second suspect and fled the scene.
