Calvin A. Davis Sr., 63, of Middletown, has been identified as the man found dead Tuesday morning on railroad tracks in Middletown, according to the Butler County Coroner’s Office.

Davis died from multiple traumatic injuries and his death was ruled an accident.

Davis was found dead on the railroad tracks at Manchester Avenue and Charles Street, Middletown police said.

A passerby called police about 7:50 a.m. Tuesday about a person on the tracks, said Major David Birk, who added it appears the person was hit by a train sometime Monday night or Tuesday morning.
