Man jailed after 2 police pursuits in Preble County

A Butler County man is in custody after he allegedly led police and deputies in Preble County on two pursuits.

Adam M. Glowka, 35, is being held in the Preble County Jail on suspicion of receiving stolen property and fleeing and eluding.

Glowka has been formerly charged in Eaton Municipal Court for grand theft of a vehicle and two counts of failure to comply with an order or signal from a police officer.

Glowka led Preble County deputies on a pursuit Oct. 1 after he allegedly stole a truck from a driveway on Preble County Line Road South, according to the Preble County Sheriff’s Office.

Glowka drove into a soybean field, through a fence and onto I-70 during the pursuit. He eventually made it into Montgomery County and pulled over on Infirmary Road where he was apprehended, according to the sheriff’s office.

Authorities said the previous evening deputies assisted Eaton police in pursuing Glowka after an alleged TV theft from Walmart.

That pursuit ended when Glowka drove into a cornfield in the 8000 block of Germantown Road and abandoned the vehicle, which was reported stolen out of Louisville, according to the sheriff’s office.

Authorities said Glowka was recently released from federal prison.
