Court was delayed Tuesday morning, and when the jury filed in, one female juror was missing. That juror was replaced with one of four alternates who has been seated in the courtroom since the trial began.
Michael Grevious II is facing the death penalty if found guilty of aggravated murder for allegedly ordering a retaliation shooting at Central Avenue and Knightsbridge on Aug. 3, 2016 that killed two people.
Outside the presence of the jury, Stephens said the juror excused had a conflict “that ultimately would have prevented her from following the law as it relates to the consideration of the death penalty.”
The prosecution is continuing to present its case against Grevious.
