UPDATE @ 4:47 p.m. (March 11)

Andrew Frost was originally arraigned Feb. 19, at which time he asked for a continuance until March 11 so that he could get a lawyer.

Frost did obtain legal counsel, and his attorney got a continuance for the March 11 appearance.

Frost has been out free on bond since Feb. 19.

He has a pretrial hearing for 9 a.m. March 22 in Middletown Municipal Court.

EARLIER REPORT (Feb. 25)

A Miamisburg woman, who was run over by her husband's semi-tractor last week in Middletown, has been upgraded to "fair" condition this afternoon in a Dayton hospital.

Angela Frost, 45, of South Union Road, Miamisburg, was injured Friday morning when her husband’s vehicle ran over her at the intersection of South Verity Parkway and Yankee Road.

She was flown to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, where she was listed in “serious” condition days after the accident, hospital officials said.

Her husband, Andrew Frost, 39, told police that he and his wife picked up his semi-tractor on Hook Drive in Middletown. Once in the semi, they began arguing about something she had found on his cell phone a few days ago, according to a police report.

Several times while driving through Middletown, Angela Frost threatened to jump out of the truck, her husband told police.

As they were nearing the intersection of South Verity Parkway and Yankee Road, she jumped out of the vehicle, he told police. The trailer he was hauling struck his wife, he said. He also nearly struck a pole on Yankee Road.

When he looked in his rear-view mirror, he told police he saw his wife lying on the road.

In a 911 call obtained by this news outlet, Angela Frost told a dispatcher she was pushed out of the semi, then later changed her story and said she opened the door.

At one point, Andrew Frost became frustrated with the dispatcher because she couldn’t understand him: “My wife is ready to die.”

When the dispatcher asked Angela Frost what happened, she said: “I got run over by a semi. I’m bleeding.”

Later she added: “Hurry, my legs are hurting and I’m getting dizzy. Hurry.”

In the 911 call, Andrew Frost can be heard screaming, “You are dying.”

Angela Frost responds, “I’m not dying.”

While interviewing Andrew Frost, Middletown police smelled alcohol on his breath. He had bloodshot eyes and was unsteady on his feet, according to a police report.

He told police he had two drinks — a mixed drink and a beer — around 10 p.m. Thursday, four hours before the incident. He was transported to the City Jail, where he refused to perform a field sobriety test and a breath test. He was charged with OVI, first offense in six years.

His arraignment is set for 9 a.m. March 11 in Middletown Municipal Court, according to court records.
