Hamilton police investigate assault at The Avenue bar

Police are investigating a reported felonious assault that happened Monday at The Avenue Tavern and Grille at 4041 Pleasant Ave.

According to a police report, when officers responded at 10:52 p.m., they found Keith R. Lewis, 46, of the 4900 block of Pleasant unconscious with injuries to his face.

The person who caused the injuries was unknown, according to the police report.

“Any information that anyone has on this incident can be forwarded to our Investigations Division by calling 513-868-5811, extension 2002,” said a police spokesperson, Officer Kristy Collins.
