A SWAT standoff ended peacefully in Fairfield early Sunday morning.
Fairfield police responded to 5361 Southgate Blvd. at around 8:15 p.m. Saturday night for a domestic situation. A woman was apparently refusing to come out of the building and the Hamilton/Fairfield SWAT team was called out.

Fairfield Police Sergeant Aaron Meyer reported the incident ended peacefully at around 1:30 a.m.
“The situation on Southgate Blvd. has ended peacefully,” Meyer wrote in a release. “The Hamilton/Fairfield SWAT team was able to take to the female into custody without incident. The case remains under investigation and charges are pending.”
