“John T. Porterfield called (a business on Le Saint Drive) and stated he was an undercover West Chester police officer. He advised the business that one of their employees engaged in a road rage situation with him,” according to the complaint filed in Butler County Area III Court by Detective Eric Couch.
“He wanted to warn the business that he would have all of the West Chester Police Department looking for the employee’s vehicle and would have the vehicle stopped by police.”
According to police, the evidence that led to the complaint is based on witness statements and phone records.
Porterfield was arraigned Thursday and was released on his own recognizance bond. He is scheduled to back in court Tuesday for a pre-trial hearing
