Men identified in double fatal overdose in Franklin

The Warren County Coroner’s Office have identified both men who died in a suspected double fatal overdose in Franklin this afternoon.

Doyle Burke, coroner’s investigator, said Kenneth Raleigh, 49, of Franklin, and Michael Watts, 49, also of Franklin, were pronounced dead at the scene. Burke said the incident occurred at Raleigh’s residence.

Franklin police were called at 2:45 p.m. about the incident that occurred in the 400 block of East Fourth Street. Police Chief Russ Whitman said police and EMS units were called to check on the welfare of two men who were on the floor possibly overdosing. Whitman said an autopsy will be done on both men on Friday.
