Magistrate Andrew Hasselbach set the cash, surety or property bond during the arraignment for Luis R. Sosa, 39. He also was placed on house arrest with electronic monitoring, according to court documents.

Sosa has been indicted by a Warren County grand jury on four counts of rape, first-degree felonies, and two counts of gross sexual imposition and one count of sexual battery, both third-degree felonies, according to court records.

He was arrested at 1:30 a.m. April 22 by Franklin police, according to court records. He appeared in Franklin Municipal Court and the charges were sent directly to the Warren County grand jury, according to records.

The sexual encounters, with females under the age of 13, allegedly began on Jan. 13, 2013 and continued until April 15, according to court documents. Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell said Sosa knew the alleged victims.
