- Ryan Day will become Boehner's new Chief of Staff for his Ohio congressional office. Day, a Xavier University graduate, has served as Boehner's District Director since 2006. Day will direct Boehner's Ohio-focused official staff operations in West Chester Twp, Troy, Springfield, and Washington, D.C.
- Frank DeBrosse, a native of Piqua, will take over for Day as District Director. DeBrosse, a Bowling Green State University graduate, has been a northern district field representative on Boehner's staff since 2009.
- Kara Hauck, a Miami University graduate, will take over as Boehner's press secretary. She will take over for Brittany Bramell, who is leaving Boehner's office for a job opportunity in her home state of California. Hauck has spent the last two years in the office of U.S. Rep. Steve Stivers, R-Ripley, most recently as his press secretary.
- Tristan Weis, a Miami County native, will become the Field Representative for the northern part of the 8th Congressional District. Weis, an Army veteran and Iraq War veteran, joined Boehner's office as a Wounded Warrior Fellow in July 2011. He has worked as Veterans Outreach Coordinator in Boehner's West Chester Twp., Troy and Springfield offices.
