There are 38,476 cases of coronavirus and 2,377 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Ohio as of Sunday, June 7, the Ohio Department of Health reported.
35,731 cases and 2,155 deaths are confirmed by the state. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,497 people have been hospitalized and 1,657 people have been admitted to an intensive care unit.

Gov. Mike DeWine will not address the state to discuss coronavirus. This week on Thursday, Gov. DeWine discussed reopening entertainment venues such as aquariums, art galleries, laser tag facilities, indoor movie theaters, outdoor playgrounds, skating rinks, trampoline parks and zoos. These venues will be permitted to reopen on June 10.
