Bruce Willis to film movie in Cincinnati

The Greater Cincinnati Film Commission announced today that a movie starring Bruce Willis will be filmed in Cincinnati.

"We are thrilled to land another movie to be filmed in Greater Cincinnati," Kristen Erwin Schlotman, executive director of the Greater Cincinnati Film Commission, told our news partner WCPO 9 On Your Side. "As more details about the production become available, we will release them."

The movie, an FBI action-film called “Marauders,” will also star Christopher Meloni and Dave Bautista.

Movie-goers might recognize Bautista from his role as the hulking Drax from “Guardians of the Galaxy.” He will also play the role of Mr. Hinx in the upcoming James Bond film, “Spectre.”

Meloni starred in the television series, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.”

The central action surrounding “Marauders” involves an FBI agent pursuing bank robbers who then give their loot to charity. Willis is cast in the role of the bank owner who is robbed.

Filming is expected to begin in Ohio later this month, according to a report in Deadline Hollywood.
