Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries purchased the 12,300-square-foot building last April for $705,000.
The building started out as a donation location last June, but did not have a formal opening, according to George Palmer, director of public relations and marketing for Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries.
Today’s grand opening introduces the location as both a donation location and a store, Palmer said. The combined store and donation facility employs nine people, he said.
Goodwill will retain its drop-off donation center at the southwest corner of Cox and Tylersville roads, he said.
