Week 4 Roundup: Talawanda, New Miami remain unbeaten

Terrell Wills and Deondre Bothast-Revalee tallied one touchdown run apiece, with Wills totaling 162 yards on the ground, as Talawanda beat visiting New Richmond 29-6.

Dalton Norris also hauled in a 27-yard TD pass from Adam Crank for the Brave (4-0).

Talawanda opens Southwest Ohio Conference play Friday night at Little Miami.

New Miami 27, St. Bernard 18: The Vikings remained undefeated with a road win to open Miami Valley Conference play.

The Vikings improved to 4-0, 1-0 MVC.

Franklin 35, Monroe 7: The Wildcats bounced back from their first loss of the season with a road win to open Southwestern Ohio Buckeye League Southwestern Division play. The Wildcats (3-1, 1-0) host Bellbrook on Thursday night. Monroe is 0-4, 0-1.

Badin 31, Roger Bacon 7: Zach Switzer threw for 200 yards with a pair of TD throws to Joshua Hegemann and Alex Delong added two TD runs as the Rams (2-2) routed previously unbeaten Spartans.

Hegemann finished with five receptions for 153 yards.

Fenwick 16, St. Charles 0: Colt Bradshaw paced the Fenwick offense with two touchdown runs. Paul Bailey tackled a St. Charles player in the endzone for a safety and Logan Miller and Andrew Thiery each had an interception for the Falcons (2-2).

Harrison 48, Ross 10: The Wildcats pulled away with 27 unanswered points in the second half in the Southwest Ohio Conference opener for both teams.

C.J. Boze totaled 106 yards rushing with one touchdown in a losing effort for Ross (3-1, 0-1 SWOC). Harrison improved to 3-1, 1-0.

Lakota West 28, Sycamore 21: David Afari racked up 187 yards on the ground with three touchdowns and added two receptions for 60 yards and a TD to lead Lakota West, which jumped ahead 28-7 in the first half.

The Firebirds are 3-1, 2-0 Greater Miami Conference; Sycamore is 3-1, 1-1.

Lebanon 41, Beavercreek 34: Keith Farr rumbled for 150 yards with four touchdowns and Ethan Marsh scrambled in the game-winning score on a 39-yard carry with 2:16 to play to lead Lebanon (3-1). Nick Brown paced 'Creek with 208 yards on the ground and three touchdowns.

Edgewood 35, Northwest 0: The Cougars opened SWOC play with a big road win to move to 2-2, 1-0.

Carlisle 21, Dixie 8: The Indians (1-3, 1-0) won their first game of the season with a road win to kick off SWBL Buckeye play.

Madison 41, Preble Shawnee 14: The Mohawks (2-2, 1-0) opened SWBL Buckeye play with a home win over the Arrows (2-2, 0-1).
