The Reds couldn’t finish a sweep, but they took two of three from the Braves in their first trip to the new SunTrust Park.

Some notes from Reds public relations on the series:

  • The Reds won the first series at SunTrust Park after failing to take any of the final seven series at Turner Field (2010-2016).
  • Adam Duvall made his second appearance at first on Sunday. Eugenio Suarez also played shortstop for the first time.
  • With Braves catcher Tyler Flowers' grand slam on Sunday, the Reds have served up nine on the year, a new club record.
  • Joey Votto reached base in every game, extending his on-base streak to 25 contests.
  • Scooter Gennett's third grand slam of the year ties the club record. He has four career homers with the bases loaded.
  • Gennett was caught stealing Saturday, but nine of the last 11 Reds attempting to steal have been successful.
  • Suarez and Jesse Winker hit back-to-back homers on Friday, the fifth time this season a pair of Reds have done so.
