The name of one of the Oregon District's newest business combines something sweet with something splendiferous.
Chloe Foster, the owner of Boujee Bee boutique at 508 Wayne Ave., says the name is partly for her love of bees —particular honey bees — and the words 'bougie' (bourgeois) as in 'fancy.'

The shop, which offers business casual looks with an edge, is one of a half dozen new shops now open or expected to open soon in or around downtown Dayton.

Foster said she’s excited about the changes.

Boujee Bee opened Jan. 18. Foster is narrowing down a date for the grand opening celebration.
