‘Survivor’ contestant from Mason will attend a local watch party tonight with a few celebrity guests

Hundreds of people are expected to turn out tonight at a local restaurant to join Mason resident Angela Perkins for a watch party the CBS television series “Survivor: Ghost Island,” on which she is a contestant.

From 6 to 10 p.m., Buffalo Wings and Rings in Mason, 5517 Kings Center Drive, is going to be the site for Perkins’ fan club on Wednesday nights as “Survivor” episodes air this season.

She watched last week’s premier with friends and family in New Jersey, but she will be in Mason tonight at Buffalo Wings and Rings to enjoy the show with fans.

“This week will be a barn burner,” Perkins shared with this news organization. “It’s going to be amazing and only grow as the season goes on. Buffalo Wings and Rings vows to add themes each week! I’m extremely grateful to John Gerbus at the restaurant. They have been amazing opening their arms to me and our fans.”

She added, “Buffalo Wings and Rings has brought the entire Ghost Island atmosphere right here to Mason.”

Also joining Perkins at the watch party will be Rodger Bingham from “Survivor The Australian Outback (season 2),” along with Marcus Lehman from “Survivor Gabon (season 17)” and Matt Bischoff, who appeared in “Survivor Caramoan (season 26).”
