Kasich, who is releasing a new book this month called ‘Two Paths: America Divided or United’, told CNN that he is not interested in running for office again.
Kasich, who refused to endorse Donald Trump for president last year, was the last Republican to bow out of the GOP primary race and cede the nomination to Trump. The Terminator refused to vote for trump last year and has been a forceful critic of Trump as president.

The two Republicans have had a public tit-for-tat fight in recent months over climate changes, money for after-school programs, immigration and approval ratings on The Apprentice. At a National Prayer breakfast, Trump told people to pray for improved TV ratings for Schwarzenegger.

Schwarzenegger has hit back, trolling Trump on Twitter. Last month he taunted Trump with a video mocking him for low approval ratings. “Oh, Donald. The ratings are in and you got swamped. Wow. Now you’re in the 30s? But what do you expect? I mean, when you take away after-school programs for children and meals on wheels for the poor people, that’s not what you call making America great again. C’mon, I mean, who is advising you?”

Kasich is barred by term limits from running for re-election as governor in 2018. Kasich has continued to break with Trump on matters of Medicaid expansion and criticism of the media.
