FIRST REPORT
A head-on crash on Interstate 71 in the Deerfield Twp. area has shut down the expressway.
At around 8 a.m. Wednesday a vehicle traveling northbound near the Kings Mills exit crossed over the median and struck a car traveling southbound.
There was entrapment reported, and a medical helicopter was called but later released after the people were extricated.
The Ohio Department of Transportation is reporting the southbound lanes are shut down as is the left northbound lane. They do not have an estimate for when the roads will reopen.
