OVI checkpoint planned tonight in Butler County

The Butler County OVI Task Force will hold an OVI checkpoint tonight.

The checkpoint will be held in the 500 block of South Locust Street in Oxford beginning at 8 p.m. and lasting until no later than midnight.

Traffic in both directions will be checked.

The task force says it uses OVI checkpoints and saturation patrols to reduce impaired-related crashes throughout the county.
