3 Middletown train crossings closing for repairs

According to the Middletown public works department, the following crossings will be closed for repairs on the following days with detour routes:

• Nov. 5: 14th Avenue between South Verity Parkway and South University Boulevard will be closed for three days. Traffic will be routed onto Yankee Road heading south to South University Boulevard.

• Nov. 7: Oxford State Road between South Verity Parkway and Yankee Road will be closed for three days. Traffic will be routed onto South Verity Parkway heading north to 14th Avenue, then east to South University Boulevard, and finally south on Yankee Road.

• Nov. 14: Lafayette Avenue between South Verity Parkway and South University Boulevard will be closed for three days. Traffic will be routed onto South Verity Parkway heading north to 14th Avenue then east to South University Boulevard.
