It will be partly to mostly clear this morning with a slight chance of a passing shower or thunderstorm, News Center 7 Meteorologist Dontae Jones said.
Most area in the region should stay dry until about noon, when we could see a pop-up shower or thunderstorm. Temperatures this morning are warm and quite muggy and are in the lower 70s, Jones said.
This afternoon, look for scattered rain and thunderstorms, some storms may contain some pretty gusty winds, frequent lightning as well as heavy downpours. Hail may present itself in some storms.
Look for hot and humid temperatures of around 90 degrees with a heat index in the mid 90s.
