Overnight: Heavy rain showers will come to an end before sunrise and winds will increase, according to News Center 7 Meteorologist Molly Coates. Wind gusts may get up to 35-45 mph. Temperatures will hold steady into the 50s before dropping into the 40s closer to early Monday morning.

Monday: It will be a cooler day with the chance of a few passing rain showers in the morning, then will be mostly cloudy. Highs will be in the upper 40s early, then fall. We could see a few flurries returning late in the day, mainly to the north.

Tuesday: We are back to winter weather on Tuesday. It will be a blustery and colder day with highs in the middle to upper 30s. Wind chills will be in the 20s throughout the day. Cloudy to mostly cloudy skies are expected with a few flurries or light snow showers possible.

Wednesday: We will have mostly sunny skies, and it will be breezy and chilly for Wednesday. Temperatures will climb back above normal for New Year's Day with highs in the lower 40s.

Thursday: We will see increasing clouds and a slight chance for showers. Highs will climb into the upper 40s.

Friday: It will be mostly cloudy and warm, with high temperatures in the low 50s. There is a chance for rain showers during the day.
