Vandalia Rec Center pool closed for 2 weeks

VANDALIA – The Vandalia Recreation Center has closed its pool for yearly scheduled maintenance. The pool closed on Aug. 1 and is expected to remain closed through Saturday, Aug. 13.

When the pool reopens on Aug. 14, it will be open at regularly scheduled hours, and regular fees for admission still apply.

Parks & Recreation Center officials choose this specific time of year for maintenance of that pool because the Cassel Hills Pool remains open. — CASEY LAUGHTER
