Here’s how liquor-control officials described the spirit:

“Bottled at 94 proof, these limited-edition barrel selections are delightfully complex with notes of vanilla bean, sweet fruit and fresh  mint to deliver a pleasantly woody taste with accents of spice, smoke and nutmeg, finishing with a long, sweet and slightly toasty taste. Each barrel differs slightly in its taste profile.”

Canepa said more special releases of small-batch, single-barrel and rare spirits are coming soon.

“We’re planning a lot of releases, raffles and even some more lotteries for you,” Canepa said.
