Butler County residents this week will have an opportunity to recycle that old computer or television collecting dust.

County residents can drop off computers and televisions after Labor Day at no charge. Materials must be derived from households, and not businesses. Items dropped off on days other than the ones designated will be assessed a fee for service.

When:

  • From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the following Tuesdays: Sept. 5, 12, 19 and 26
  • From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the following Thursdays: Sept. 7, 14, 21 and 28
  • From 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on the following Saturdays: 9, 16, 23 and 30

There will be two collection sites in Butler County:

  • Cohen Hamilton Recycling Center, 105 Black Street in Hamilton
  • Cohen Middletown Recycling Center, 3120 S. Verity Parkway in Middletown
