Oxford teen found safe weeks after she was reported missing

An Oxford teen who was last seen by her family on New Year’s Eve has been found safe, police said.

Brenna Koelblin, 16, was found safe at a residence today, according to Oxford police Lt. Lara Fening.

Earlier this month, Oxford police posted on social media that they were searching for the runaway girl.

On Jan. 13, police said the girl had been in contact with people she knew and had changed her appearance.

“Brenna has been located! Thanks to everyone who helped and shared our posts, we can’t do this without you!” police posted on social media about noon today.
