OktoberFest in Butler County kicks off tonight

Butler County’s largest OktoberFest kicks off its three-day run tonight at Liberty Home Association, 2361 Hamilton-Cleves Road.

The 54th annual Hamilton OktoberFest will feature entertainment, rides, games and plenty of German food and beverages.

Hours: 5-11 p.m. today; 1-11 p.m. Saturday and 1-8 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $3 per person and children under 14 are admitted for free.

German food for sale includes mettwurst, bratwurst, sauerkraut, potato salad, cabbage rolls, sauerkraut balls, potato pancakes, pretzels, cream puffs, limburger cheese, onion sandwiches and desserts.

Live German entertainment schedule: 6-10 p.m. today: Steve Owen Musik; 1-5 p.m. Saturday: Steven Owen Musik; 5 p.m. Saturday: Opening Ceremony; 6 p.m. Saturday: Enzian Dancers; 6:30-10:30 p.m. Saturday: Vereins-Musikanten; 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Sunday: 4+ Brass; 4-8 p.m.: Fest Meisters.

A car show is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. Sunday.
