New Year’s Eve is going to be a soggy and warm one across the Miami Valley.
Steady rain will fall in the morning and will continue for the majority of the day.
Rain gear will be a necessity for Monday.
As this system moves through, winds will begin to pick-up in the afternoon.
Wind gusts will be as high as 30 to 35 mph and will increase to 40 to 45 mph in the evening.
We could see one to two inches of rain.
Heavy pockets of rain and reduced visibility will be possible at times.
Warm air will surge in with highs approaching the upper 50s.
Most of the steady rain will leave our region before we ring in the new year!
